2004/2005
We
offer a variety of educational and spiritually enriching
opportunities for adults through the year. Whether it’s
a book or Bible study, seasonal prayer services, or
presentation, the goal of the program is to “nourish
and empower our members in their calling and identity
as people of faith, as contributors to the life and
work of the Church and as disciples whose mission is
to the world.”
The
following is just a sampling of our offerings. There
are many other adult faith formation opportunities available
during the year here at St. Cecilia, as well as at other
local parishes. Please watch the bulletin for information
about other upcoming programs.

RCIA
SPONSOR—Being a sponsor in the RCIA process
provides the opportunity to accompany someone who is
preparing to become a Catholic. A sponsor represents
the parish community as the person is introduced to
the Catholic way of life. Although the RCIA process
is first and foremost for the candidates, the experience
of being a sponsor can be a very rewarding process and
a renewal of faith for all those involved . In the past,
many people have discovered this ministry to be a very
powerful experience of faith and of the Church community.
